YouthBuild Philly
YouthBuild Philly provides a supportive environment for disadvantaged young adults to complete their high-school degrees and develop essential work skills while benefiting their communities in meaningful ways. We're big fans of the work YouthBuild is doing in our community.

George Jenkins heads up the GreenBuild program, teaching young adults building trades using sustainable materials and renewable infrastructure, invigorating the next generation of sustainability-minded professionals.
YouthBuild Philly has finally found a permanent home - in what used to be the PECO electric headquarters. Updates to the new (very old) building are underway, but additional funding is needed to get the facility ready for students.
In addition to hosting interns and supporting YouthBuild's community initiatives, we are also helping them fund and execute a clean energy microgrid at the new YouthBuild campus.
